Our story
Tedford Garage Doors started in Victoria as a family business with one goal: fix garage doors properly, price the work honestly and show up when we say we will. Four decades later the same family still runs the company, and the same rules still apply on every job.
Our shop on Vanalman Avenue serves Southern Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands, and you're welcome to drop in during office hours. From here our trucks cover Victoria, Saanich, Oak Bay and Esquimalt, the West Shore out to Sooke and Port Renfrew, the Malahat and Mill Bay, Shawnigan Lake and Cobble Hill, the Saanich Peninsula up to Sidney, and the islands of Salt Spring, Pender, Galiano, Mayne and Saturna.
We handle residential garage doors across that area, and commercial overhead doors from Victoria up to Nanaimo. We are a Clopay Master Authorized Dealer and a LiftMaster Authorized Dealer, we also install Amarr, Garaga, Steelcraft and Northwest Door products, we can supply almost any manufacturer and we service all makes and models, so the recommendation you get is based on what suits your home or building, not on the only brand we carry.

“Jose Arrived during the time window we were given. Fixed our garage door promptly. Explained exactly what needed to be done so there were no surprises. A very friendly, polite, courteous young man. I would highly recommend tedford garage doors. They installed our door 20 years ago. It’s stood up well.”
Anne N. via Google “Tedford Doors did a great job servicing some really old motors for us and got everything working again. They were creative with their solutions, professional, and easy to work with. We’ve used them on many jobs over the years and have always been happy with the service. Highly recommend!”
Ryan G. via Google “We had a great experience with Tedford Garage Doors! Brian came out to give us a quote and later to replace the springs and did a fantastic job. Nancy and Brooke on the admin side were also super helpful when we needed our appointment rescheduled. Would recommend to anyone in town who needs work done on their garage door!”
