Who we are

What we collect

When you call, book online or send a message we collect the details needed to schedule and complete your service: name, phone number, email, service address and a description of the work. Online bookings are processed through ServiceTitan Scheduler Pro, our scheduling provider. Messages sent through the contact form are delivered to our office by email through a third-party email delivery service.

To measure which advertising leads to calls, the phone number shown on this site may be a call-tracking number provided by ServiceTitan that forwards to our office. When you call it, ServiceTitan records details of the call, such as the time, the number you called from and the page or advertisement that led to it.

Calls to our office are recorded for quality and training purposes, so we can keep our customer service at its best.

If you apply for financing, your application goes directly to our financing provider. We don't store financing application details ourselves.

If you arrived from an advertisement, the campaign identifiers on that link (such as utm parameters or click IDs) are kept in your browser for up to 30 days and included with your booking or message so we can see which advertising works.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Neyo's tag manager to run analytics and advertising tags (such as Google Ads and Meta) that help us understand how visitors use the site and measure our advertising. These tools may set cookies and collect device and usage data, including campaign parameters from the link you arrived on. You can turn this tracking off for your browser below (or with Decline on the notice shown on your first visit), limit it through your browser settings, or use the opt-out tools those providers offer.

How we use your information

To respond to your request, schedule and perform work, send invoices, and improve our website and advertising. We also send texts and emails to confirm upcoming appointments, follow up on the quality of our service, and let you know when your garage door is due for service. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

Customer and service records are kept in ServiceTitan, our job-management system, with no set deletion date, so your service history is on hand whenever you call us again. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, as described below.

Your choices

You may ask us to correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to records we must keep for accounting and warranty purposes. Email csr@tgdnanaimo.com or call our office.
